Yerevan, April 9 /Sin Hua/ — Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Thursday received a delegation from Kazakhstan led by the country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ermek Kosherbayev. This was reported by the press service of the head of the Armenian government.
Greeting the guests, N. Pashinyan pointed out the strategic nature of the partnership between the two countries. As noted, the recent mutual visits of the leaders of the two countries gave a new impetus to the comprehensive development of cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan, as evidenced by the busy agenda of bilateral relations.
N. Pashinyan stated that the ongoing processes in the region also positively influence the bilateral cooperation between the two countries. In particular, the launch of railway communication through Azerbaijan, Russia, and Georgia gives a new impetus to the expansion of trade and economic ties.
The head of MID of Kazakhstan expressed confidence that the opening of railway communication will significantly expand bilateral trade and economic ties. He emphasized the importance of unlocking regional communications.
The parties also discussed issues related to the development of cooperation in the fields of infrastructure, construction, agriculture, technology, air transportation, and tourism. In this regard, they noted the importance of launching direct flights between Armenia and Kazakhstan in the near future. –0–
