Nature lovers aged from six to 14 will have to carefully study the “Buzzing World” exhibition. Participation in the interactive “Zhuzhu-quest” is possible until June 8 inclusive. To do this, during the visit to the exhibition, the children need to find special stickers with QR codes next to the exhibits and scan them using a phone. Four of them lead to mini-quiz questions on the “Active Citizen — for Children” platform. They are dedicated to models of the larvae of the mosquito and Varroa mite on the pupa of the honey bee, sapetka — a woven hive from the south of Russia, as well as arachnids.By answering questions, young townspeople will learn more about some representatives of the invertebrate world, will be able to better study living nature and interspecies relationships. An engaging quest format will make visiting the exhibition and getting acquainted with insects and arachnids even more interesting.

At the beginning of the exhibition, another QR code is placed, by scanning which the visitors will take part in a thematic survey and choose the most interesting exhibit and interactive game at the exhibition.

If children have questions about insects, they will be able to write them down on a sheet and place it in a special box with the logo of the “Active Citizen — for Children” platform. It is located in the entomological laboratory. In the summer, after the quest ends, a new video story with answers to the most interesting and popular topics will be released on the platform.

“Bioclaster”— this is the first and only complex in the country that unites under a common foundation all the main directions of modern biology. The State Biological Museum named after K.A. Timiryazev was founded in 1922 by Boris Zavadovsky, an academician and a leading specialist in physiology, endocrinology, and biology. The main exhibition is located in the former estate of Petr Shchukin on Malaya Gruzinskaya Street (house 15), with a collection numbering over 110,000 exhibits. Among them are unique anthropological reconstructions, zoological collections from famous domestic naturalists, and wet preparations demonstrating anomalies of embryological development.

“Active Citizen — For Children”— is an online platform created especially for young Muscovites aged from six to 14 years old, having a standard account registration on the mos.ru portal or platform «Moscow Electronic School“.
