According to information received on April 6 from China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN), headquartered in Shenzhen, on the same day the construction of a CGN solar power plant with a capacity of 50 MW began in Damshung County, Lhasa City (Umatang village). The facility is located at an altitude of 4550 meters above sea level. The station will be able to provide uninterrupted electricity generation at night and flexibly participate in peak load regulation, providing stable, reliable, and clean energy for the Sichuan energy system.
