Beijing, April 6 /Xinhua/ — On Saturday, the first cross-border e-commerce train of this year within the framework of international China-Europe railway freight transportation /number X8208/ departed from the international freight port of Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province /East China/. This was reported on the official website of the information agency “China Xinhua News”.
This train, loaded with ceramic dishes, passed through the Erenhot CCPP in the autonomous region of Inner Mongolia / Northern China / directly to a foreign warehouse in Russia, which marked the official launch of a new commercial and logistics model – “cross-border e-commerce + China-Europe freight train + foreign warehouse”.
Relying on deep integration of a special customs-controlled zone and a cargo consolidation center for cross-border electronic commerce, the international comprehensive port of Ganzhou has created a cross-border electronic commerce system with various business models and an integrated logistics chain, opening a convenient logistics channel for enterprises entering foreign markets from the southern part of Jiangxi province.
The international transit port of Guanchzhou is located in the inland region of China. Thanks to the China-Europe freight railway transportation, it has become the 8th inland open port of China and the first pilot zone for immigration and quarantine control in the country’s inland region.
At the moment, this port handles various models of cross-border e-commerce and has formed a unified chain of services for consolidation, customs clearance, transportation, and delivery.
