Beijing, April 3 /Xin Hua/ — China denied the unfounded accusations by the USA regarding the so-called “detention” of ships flying the Panamanian flag, the official representative of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mao Ning stated on Friday.
The diplomat made this statement at another press briefing and said that the repetition of unjustified US accusations only indicates hidden motives aimed at seizing the Panama Canal.
“Who so blatantly undermines the neutral status of the Panama Canal and the stability of the global supply chain by resorting to unilateral pressure and coercion? Justice lives in the hearts of people,” Mao Ning noted.
