Since 2022, about 1.9 million square meters of housing have been introduced in Donbass and Novorossiya, and nearly 1.8 million square meters are at the construction stage according to issued permits as of today. Among the objects that received the permit for commissioning is a 21-story building in the residential complex “Krasnoyarsky” in Lugansk. This was reported by the Deputy Chairman of the Government Marat Khusnullin.
“In the reunited region, thanks to the development of housing construction, several important issues are simultaneously resolved: the availability of comfortable housing increases, and the urban infrastructure improves. An economic effect is also observed: related industries are activated, the investment attractiveness of territories increases, and jobs are created. Construction companies are interested in implementing investment projects because there is demand, which is ensured among other things by a preferential mortgage at 2%. In the LNR, for example, it is planned to build 1.35 million square meters of housing by 36 developers.”One of those who previously registered the residential complex “Krasnoyarsky” in Sverdlovsk received permission to commission a 21-story building in a namesake complex in Lugansk. It was built in a picturesque, scenic location, on the territory there are playgrounds for children and sports facilities, and for car owners – parking lots,” the vice-premier said.
The Deputy Prime Minister added that the residential complex was erected by a construction organization — a participant in the free economic zone, which is supervised by the TDF “Territory Development Fund.”
“The stimulus for housing development in the historical region has been a series of measures to support developers. One of the main ones is a free economic zone with its benefits and preferences. On the territory of LNR, on an area of 65 hectares, participants of the SEZ plan to erect 74 apartment buildings according to issued construction permits – these are new apartments for 9,145 families,” said the General Director of the Territorial Development Fund, Vasily Kupyzin.
