Beijing, April 2 /Xinhua/ — The problem with the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz is one of the side effects of the ongoing military conflict. This was stated on Thursday by the foreign minister of the DPRK, Wan I, noting that the situation in the strait will remain unstable until the military actions end.
Van Ie, who is also a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, made this statement during a telephone conversation with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. The conversation was initiated by the Saudi side.
