On March 29, the 8th conference of Peking University, dedicated to the Qīnmín Festival, was held at the medical school of Peking University. The theme of this year’s conference was “Death and Love.” Its aim was, through discussion of issues related to palliative care, organ donation, and funeral rituals, to form a consensus that “love overcomes death,” and to convey the view of life and death according to which “life is finite, but love is infinite; medicine has its limits, but great love knows no boundaries.”
