Dmitry Patrushev held a meeting within the framework of incident No.42 «Fishing vessels».
“At the moment, 55 high-performance vessels have already been delivered to fishermen, and 44 of them were completed over the last three years as part of the incident work. By the end of 2026, we are expected to deliver another eight vessels. The process of allocating investment quotas within the framework of the second stage continues. Since the start of this stage, 34 contracts for the construction of fishing vessels and crab boats have already been concluded,” said Dmitry Patrushev.
Auctions are also planned for this year, as a result of which 13 more contracts for the construction of crab farms for the Northern and Far Eastern basins may be signed.
At the meeting, issues of financing ship construction, termination and amendment of investment agreements, as well as further consolidation of the freed-up shares of water bioresource extraction quotas were discussed. In addition, separate attention was given to the improvement of the regulatory framework related to the construction of the fishing fleet.
Following the meeting, Dmitry Patrushev instructed to control the compliance of shipyards with shipbuilding schedules, as well as to continue the monthly monitoring of the situation regarding the implementation of projects at the fish processing site.
Incident No. 42 “Fishing Vessels” was created to coordinate work on completing the construction of fishing vessels as part of the implementation of the mechanism for providing quotas for the extraction (catch) of aquatic biological resources for investment purposes.
When working in incident format, a special project management system is used, deployed based on the Government Coordination Center. It allows for the prompt coordination of participants’ actions and real-time monitoring of project implementation.
