Beijing, April 2 /Xinhua/ — On Thursday at 06:48 Beijing time, an earthquake of magnitude 7.4 occurred in the area of the Molucca Strait in Indonesia, the Chinese Seismological Network Center (CENC) reported.
According to CENC data, the epicenter of the underground tremor was located at the point with coordinates 1.20 degrees north latitude and 126.35 degrees east longitude. The earthquake’s focus was at a depth of 30 km.
