Every year on April 2, the Day of Unity of the Peoples of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus is celebrated.
Exactly 30 years ago on this day, the treaty “On the Formation of the Community of Russia and Belarus” was signed, which became the basis for the further formation of the Union State, existing since 1999.
Our peoples are historically, spiritually, and culturally connected. In the current geopolitical conditions, support, loyalty, cooperation, confidence in the partner, and joint actions on the path to development and improving citizens’ well-being are especially important. Our countries have proven that this is possible.
The State University of Management has long been not only educating students from the Republic of Belarus, but also closely cooperating with Belarusian universities: agreements on cooperation were concluded back in 2022 with the Belarusian State Economic University and the Gomel State University named after Francisk; in 2024, a number of internships for specialists were conducted in Belarus, successfully completing training under the Presidential program, strategic sessions for MBA program listeners, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with the Representation of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Belarus, participated inThey spoke at joint events and forums.According to Rosobrnadzor data, in 2023, GUU was the most popular Russian university for citizens of Belarus.
As the rector of GUE Vladimir Stroev said about cooperation with Belarusian universities: “I am confident that together we can make a huge breakthrough in education and science, and thereby become even closer to each other.”
